This assembly consists of a four-inch diameter steel pipe bollard, six feet in length, embedded into a 3000 PSI concrete footing. The pipe is capped with a four-inch steel plate secured by a one-eighth-inch fillet weld and features a half-inch reflective tape band. A one-quarter-inch diameter steel bar, six inches long, is welded to the base of the pipe to provide anchorage within the concrete. The footing is one foot four inches in diameter or square, extending three feet nine inches below the adjacent grade. The bollard is specified as four-inch inside diameter, schedule 80 galvanized pipe, finished with OSHA safety yellow paint.
