A quarter-inch thick galvanized steel plate with a varying diameter opening is mounted to a catch basin wall using four galvanized steel concrete bolts. The plate features dimensions based on the pipe diameter plus six inches horizontally and pipe diameter plus three inches vertically, maintaining one-inch side and top clearances around the opening. The lower edge sits flush against the catch basin floor above compacted subgrade.
