This plan detail shows a granite stone veneer cladding system at an inside building corner with a structural steel frame and six-inch metal stud exterior walls. The cavity features two inches of spray polyurethane foam insulation and foam-plastic board insulation sheathing acting as an air barrier, with all sheathing joints taped for continuity. A three-eighths-inch joint filled with backer rod and sealant occurs at the granite corner junction. Structural columns and framing members are referenced to the structural drawings.
