The assembly utilizes typical 3-inch by 3-inch by 12-gauge angles welded to the structural members with typical one-eighth inch fillet welds. A typical 16-gauge closure plate spans the junction between framing components. The dimension 'A' indicates the clearance gap, which can eliminate the deck support angle when three inches or less and perpendicular to the deck span. Deck support angles and closure plates are supplied by the deck manufacturer per project notes.
