A continuous C-channel and hollow structural section canopy member connects to a concrete wall per plan. The structural steel HSS member is welded to a 1/2" x 9" x 0'-9" steel plate with a full penetration weld. The plate is anchored to the concrete wall with four 3/4" diameter by 0'-6" weld studs. A 5/16" fillet weld secures the HSS member to the end plate.
