An exterior cleanout connects to a cast iron building sewer or storm line using a cast iron bend and MG couplings or Fernco-type couplers. A brass screw type plug with a countersunk head closes the top of the cleanout pipe, set flush with the finish grade or the pavement of a patio or paver area. Concrete encasement surrounds the wye connection at the main sewer line for stability. When located in patios or paver areas, the top plug is constructed flush with the grade of the pavement.
