This wall transition assembly features a five-eighths-inch-thick tile backer board supporting a porcelain tile finish, sized per the finish legend. The tile finish meets a five-eighths-inch gypsum board partition with a one-inch minimum board overlap. A continuous caulk bead seals the joint between the tile termination and the gypsum board above.
