A concrete truck slab transitions to an asphalt concrete paving section set over a rock base. The concrete slab features a thickness of seven inches with a six-inch thickened edge extending down eight inches. A one-quarter-inch step down occurs at the interface between the concrete slab and the adjacent asphalt paving. The entire assembly slopes to conform to the grading plan.
