The pavement assembly consists of a three and one-half inch thick layer of cast-in-place cement concrete placed directly over a four-inch thick layer of crushed surfacing base course. The base course rests upon an undisturbed or recompacted subgrade. Vertical thickness dimensions are clearly indicated for each upper strata.
