A pipe culvert discharge point incorporates a riprap apron and flared end section over a stone-lined channel bed underlain by a layer of filter fabric. The riprap extends up both sides of the apron and around the culvert end, transitioning to existing slope conditions with apron widths and lengths sized per table schedules. A cutoff toe wall is keyed in at the downstream end to a minimum depth of one foot below specified depth. General notes dictate specific installation requirements including apron key-in depths, prohibition of fill placement in receiving channels, and alignment constraints.
