A precast air-entrained concrete wheel stop sits on top of the pavement and is secured with two number four rebar anchoring rods extending twelve inches minimum into the subgrade. The anchoring rods are countersunk one inch deep into the top of the concrete wheel stop typically. The wheel stop measures forty-eight inches in length and stands six inches high above the finished pavement surface.
