A concrete sidewalk section terminates adjacent to a sloped grading swale. The swale features a 3:1 slope extending outward from the sidewalk edge and upward to surrounding grade with a minimum depth of three inches. One-foot horizontal dimensions define the swale profile on either side of the low point. A note specifies that the grading swale must be flush with the area drain grate.
