Accessibility diagrams establish regulatory compliance standards for floor finishes and pedestrian circulation paths. Carpet pile thickness is limited to a maximum of one-half inch. Floor gratings require openings oriented with the long dimension perpendicular to the route of travel. Protruding objects on single posts or pylons may overhang up to four inches when positioned between twenty-seven and eighty inches above the floor. Objects on multiple posts or pylons must maintain a lowest edge either twenty-seven inches maximum or eighty inches minimum above the floor when the clear distance between supports exceeds twelve inches.
