The assembly anchors an eighth-inch thick aluminum channel sill base to the substrate using one quarter-20 hex washer head screws spaced at two and one-half inches from each side of the vertical and twelve inches on center in between, installed per ICC ESR-3332. An inner UCH1158 aluminum channel measuring one and five-eighths by one by one-eighth inch thick ties into the framing at a two-inch daylight opening dimension.
