A drop inlet structure is set within excavated subgrade with side slopes draining toward the opening. A storm drain inlet grate sits flush at the top of the concrete drop inlet walls. A dandy bag sediment filter hangs directly beneath the grate to capture suspended solids and silt before runoff enters the storm sewer system.
