A one-quarter inch diameter steel plunger rod is guided by brackets welded to the door frame. The assembly includes a handle at the top and a stop bar near the bottom, with brackets featuring drilled holes for free movement of the bar. A plunger bar is provided on the back of one door set, positioned to set in a tooled contraction joint.
