Full height non-rated gypsum partition wall spanning between the lower structure and upper structure. The assembly consists of one layer of 5/8-inch Type X gypsum board on both sides of steel studs with sound attenuating batt insulation. Wall tags FG3 and FG6 specify stud sizes of 3-5/8 inches and 6 inches with corresponding wall thicknesses of 4-7/8 inches and 7-1/4 inches, providing an STC rating of 47. Kicker bracing is provided above the ceiling as required.
