A Christy G-5 cleanout box sits flush with the ground elevation, enclosing a screwed plug and adjustable riser connected as needed. A long radius wye fitting joins the vertical cleanout riser to the main sewer or storm drain line, with an additional screwed plug terminating the inline branch. A cleanout box lid marked sewer or storm drain covers the assembly set six inches above the plug. The entire unit is embedded below grade to provide surface access for underground utility maintenance.
