A new sanitary pipe penetrates an existing concrete manhole wall through a core-drilled opening with a concrete manhole adapter and a minimum twelve-inch long stub. Non-shrink grout seals around the pipe opening. The core cut is executed without spalling or damage to the existing structure. The pipe connection utilizes a flexible boot connector, and the existing invert channel is re-shaped to accommodate the new invert.
