A precast four-foot by four-foot catch basin junction box and inlet box features thin wall knockouts sized to accommodate pipe diameters as specified on the utility plan across four sides. Excavation around the box requires backfilling with one-and-one-half-inch washed rock extending three feet above the bottom of the box.
