An underground detention basin section shows re-installed chambers bedded in free-draining angular washed stone with a 3/4-inch to 2-inch particle size, compacted to 95% standard density per AASHTO T99. The stone bed is enclosed by a 30-mil PVC pond liner along the bottom and sides, topped with Mirafi 180N filter fabric beneath the pavement structure. A 4-inch high-density polyethylene perforated underdrain pipe is installed at the bottom edges of the gravel storage area. Elevation markers define the bottom and top of the gravel at 4283.31 and 4287.31 respectively, and the bottom and top of the chambers at 4283.81 and 4286.31.
