A permanent nylon marking tag is secured to the cable with a band, displaying abbreviation codes such as AN for anode, DR for drain, RW for reclaimed water, TT for test, and W for water, followed by numbers indicating pipe diameter in inches, anode number, and anode weight in pounds. Insulation must be removed prior to fastening the cable with the set screw.
