Exterior wall and tower curtain wall intersection at the podium level. The assembly features an intumescent painted structural steel column aligning with a grid line and connecting to a structural buckling-restrained brace. A painted aluminum panel and a podium curtain wall system tie into the framing as required, backed by gypsum board interior finish with a one-half inch reglet reveal. An extruded silicone transition sheet provides weather sealing at the junction between the tower curtain wall mullion and the exterior wall.
