This structural connection utilizes typical L3x3x3/16 angles welded with a 3/16 fillet weld to wide flange, hollow structural section, or boxed columns. A typical 16-gauge closure plate spans between the support angles. Deck support angles are to be supplied by the structural steel contractor.
