This manual single swing barrier gate spans 20 feet between two 2-7/8 inch outside diameter galvanized pipe posts. The gate frame is constructed from 1-7/8 inch outside diameter galvanized pipe with high reflective tape applied typically. The gate is supported by standard hinges per manufacturer recommendations and secures to a receiver post via gate locking tabs. Each post is embedded into a 3000 PSI concrete footing with a minimum 1 foot 6 inch diameter, extending 2 feet 6 inches below finished grade. A 1/4 inch diameter by 6 inch long steel bar is embedded at the base of each post for anchorage. The concrete surface around the posts is pitched to drain, and all welds are specified as continuous, ground smooth, and primed and painted OSHA yellow.
