Fourteen-gauge bent steel pans with three-eighth-inch radius bends receive precast concrete treads set above stair stringers. The bent steel pans feature a bent lip to support the tread and are welded to the stringer with a one-eighth-inch fillet weld at two inches on center. The stringer consists of a quarter-inch plate unless noted otherwise. Precast treads are sized per structural sheet S103 with a maximum seven-inch rise and eleven-inch run.
