This elevator ladder assembly features 2 1/2-inch by 1/2-inch rail sides fitted with three-quarter-inch diameter rungs featuring a non-slip surface spaced at one foot typically. The ladder attaches to the floor using an L4x4x3/8 by 2-inch angle welded to the ladder rail and secured with a half-inch expansion bolt. Additional three-quarter-inch expansion bolts anchor the ladder side rails to the concrete elevator pit wall. Location coordination with the elevator manufacturer is required.
