A PLA-01 double-J control joint is installed within the plaster wall assembly, wire-tied to the metal lath per ASTM standards. The metal lath is discontinued at the control joint according to ASTM guidelines. An AB-02 strip is applied at each control and expansion joint, backed by an AB-01 layer. The assembly accommodates movement while maintaining continuous weather and crack control across the plaster surface.
