The reinforced concrete slab terminates at a thickened edge extending one foot six inches minimum below finish grade, with a nine-inch bottom width and a three-inch haunch slope. Two continuous number four bars provide reinforcement within the thickened footing portion. Finish grade, asphalt concrete paving, or concrete slab is coordinated per civil and architectural drawings. A note specifies that thickened edges are not required at truck court slabs where adjacent paving is also concrete.
