A concrete wall joint assembly incorporates structural steel ledgers and an 8x8x1'-2"H angle equipped with five 1"x0'-8" long stiffener plates. Five number 9 by 5'-0" long dowels and five stud anchors connect to the plate assembly. A plate measuring f"x9"x1'-2" bridges the joint space with welded connections indicated throughout. Fillet welds of 5/16" size are specified at the stiffener connections, with additional field weld symbols shown.
