A handrail column embeds into the top of a retaining wall. The handrail column sets within an eight-inch minimum diameter core or blockout, filled with grout. Reinforcing steel consists of number five continuous bars typically along with number five bars configured at the handrail connections. The entire assembly is detailed within the specified top width of the retaining wall.
