A heavy-duty threshold sits in a bed of sealant directly on a three-eighths-inch stainless steel deck plate, which is supported by a structural steel beam. A stiffener plate is welded to the beam web and underside of the deck plate per structural drawings. Two-inch board insulation clads the beam assembly below. The exterior face of the insulated metal panel wall extends beyond the assembly as indicated per plan.
