This one-hour fire rated ceiling assembly consists of a concrete topping poured over corrugated metal deck, supported by structural steel framing members. Suspended framing channels carry the gypsum board ceiling finish below the structural support. The fire-rated construction complies with Gypsum Association design requirements for hourly protection.
