A gusset plate and doubler plate connection frames into a steel girder sized per plan. A half-inch thick gusset plate connects structural members sized per plan with five-sixteenths inch fillet welds. Typical stiffeners are provided per detail 2 on sheet 3.S-510, with a doubler plate furnished at the rafter connection. The assembly forms part of the seismic force-resisting system.
