Inverted cap sheets are laid over the base sheet below interpiles on the roof cricket. Crickets are required at all curb openings and where the roof slope is less than 1/2 inch per foot in any direction. These crickets should be installed at the high side of all curbs and platforms over 4 feet wide or at smoke vents. The cap sheet layout includes one-third cap sheet, two-thirds cap sheet, and full cap sheet sections as detailed in the plan view.
