This assembly details the interface between a suspended ceiling grid and a hot aisle containment system supported by racking posts. A two-inch perimeter angle is installed at the ceiling edge, with sealant applied to join the ceiling grid molding to the twin-wall panels of the hot aisle containment. Sheet metal is extended one inch above the racking post, and the containment panel is notched to accommodate the Unistrut support frame, which is designed and provided by a specialty engineer. The top of the integrated hot aisle containment is set at 16 feet 3 and 3/16 inches, aligning with the overhead cable tray elevation.
