A surface-mounted two-and-a-half-inch interior roller shade and pocket assembly is anchored adjacent to an exterior wall and coordinated with an acoustic ceiling system. A removable closure provided by the manufacturer conceals the pocket opening. The roller shade joint aligns with the center of the vertical mullion when the single span exceeds the manufacturer maximum dimension.
