A drain pipe passes through a concrete curb and walk assembly featuring a drain transition manifold and a transition manifold and pipe schedule. A one-quarter-inch galvanized steel angle extends a minimum of four inches on each side of the manifold. An eighth-inch asphalt impregnated sheathing is cut to fit and surround the pipe as typical at all pipe-curb penetrations. Number four reinforcing bars are placed at the pipe-curb penetration and extended a minimum of thirty-six inches past the opening. The pipe slopes at one-eighth inch per foot minimum, positioned four feet minimum from the curb, with three inches minimum cover and ground cover bermed up.
