Precast concrete stair treads feature four five-sixteenths by five-sixteenths inch deep nosing grooves extending across the full length of the stair. The treads rest on a cast-in-place concrete substructure with a six-and-one-half-inch riser height. A non-rated shadow box with quarter-inch low iron tempered glass utilizes butt joints and sits adjacent to the stair assembly. Handrail connections are recessed into the structural elements.
