The assembly consists of one and five-eighths inch metal stud framing sheathed with five-eighths inch fire-retardant treated plywood, which is painted black in exposed areas. Composite metal panels are secured to the substrate using twenty-four gauge galvanized metal starter clips and backers, with fasteners spaced at four inches and one foot on center. Very high bond panel tape is applied at the panel joints and transitions. The system accommodates a television mount as specified in the technology drawings, with the overall wall construction and finish sized per the project plans and elevations.
