A metal stud wall partition terminates against the bottom of the deck with a metal runner, sealed with caulk at the perimeter joint. The wall is framed with metal studs measuring three and five-eighths inches wide with five-eighths inch thick layers on each face. On the left side, a half-inch drywall ceiling is framed with furring channels and carrying channels suspended by tie wires from the overhead structure. Corner reinforcement is provided at the ceiling-to-wall intersection with a metal runner. On the right side, a suspended acoustic tile ceiling abuts the partition wall. All joints at the floor and ceiling are sealed with caulk.
