A vertical hollow structural section support penetrates the roof membrane and is sealed with a welded PVC square tube flashing membrane extending a minimum of eight inches up the post. The flashing is secured at its top edge with a stainless steel hose clamp over an elastomeric joint sealant applied to a clean surface. The base flange of the PVC flashing transitions horizontally and is hot-air welded to the surrounding roof membrane.
