A concrete curb and gutter is cast adjacent to a concrete walk with a thickened edge and an asphalt concrete pavement section over aggregate base. The curb features a troweled finish with tooled one-half inch radius edges, a one-inch radius transition, and a three-eighths inch lip. One-inch diameter Schedule 40 PVC weepholes are spaced at eight feet on center, sloped down one inch from the back of the curb toward a crushed rock pit. A half-inch expansion joint is provided with tooled edges. Finish grade is set at one inch at sod and one and a half inches at ground cover. Aggregate base and natural grade depths are coordinated with civil drawings.
