A painted standing seam metal roof sits atop a waterproof substrate and vapor barrier supported by variable metal framing members. The structural steel overhang frame connects to exterior aluminum outrigger plates and painted aluminum extruded blades spaced one foot four inches typically. Trim fasteners with sealing washers or rivets secure the aluminum trim over continuous non-skinning butyl tape or sealant against the flush metal wall panel. Inside closures are sealed and secured with sealant along the roof edge above the flexible sheet membrane, thermal break shims, and water barrier over exterior sheathing.
