A one-quarter inch thick flexible connector material bridges the gap between the fan inlet or outlet flange and the duct flange, preventing vibration transmission. Stainless steel backing rings distribute clamping pressure evenly along both flanged joints. Three-eighth inch bolts with flat washers and nuts featuring nylon inserts secure the assembly through the backing rings, flexible material, and flanges.
