A motorized window shade pocket is integrated into a framed ceiling assembly. The roller tube and shade band assembly is supported by a mounting bracket secured within a recessed pocket enclosure. A removable closure and single closure mount finish the ceiling interface, allowing the shadecloth to drop vertically with a hembar sealed inside its lower edge.
