Suspended ceiling hanger wire is anchored to the underside of a concrete and metal deck slab using an approved ceiling clip fastened per structural drawings. A number ten self-tapping sheet metal screw secures the vertical wire through electrical metallic tubing with a maximum five-eighths inch clearance. Twelve-gauge vertical hanger wire is tied with three tight turns, maintaining a one-and-one-half-inch spacing.
