The standing seam metal roofing assembly features specified panels anchored with panel connector clips using pancake head fasteners per manufacturer instructions. A continuous tee-rib and vinyl weatherseal run along the top side of the roof assembly. Beneath the roofing, one-half inch plywood sheathing is fastened to the metal deck using steel studs spaced at all plywood sheet edges and at the center of plywood sheets in each direction. Extruded polystyrene insulation and vapor retarder layers integrate into the buildup above the structural metal deck and tee-shaped roof structure where it occurs.
