Two vertical guardrail posts attach to the stair stringer assembly. Posts maintain six-inch spacing, centered on a closure plate located below the stringer. The assembly aligns with the riser line and the front edge of the tread below, with a three-inch offset from the riser line. Handrail PT-745 integrates into the stringer configuration. The space between balusters, and between guardrails and balusters, must not exceed four inches on center.
