Cold-formed steel stud track splices are constructed using twenty-five gauge minimum steel tracks and typical studs. Connections are secured with number six gauge screws spaced at thirty inches on center stud to stud. Detail variations include one inch minimum clearance requirements and aligned or staggered track configurations.
